波罗的海国家研究中心(Center for Baltic States Studies)经国家教育部备案于2017年在辽宁大学成立，是一个以立陶宛、爱沙尼亚、拉脱维亚三国的历史、政治、经济、文化、社会等领域研究为重点的跨学科、跨区域的研究平台，为中国和波罗的海三国学者的交流和研究提供便利。我们的任务是：

²       促进辽宁大学学者和其他学者，以及研究生和本科生对波罗的海国家的研究和创新研究。

 

²        培养研究波罗的海国家的专门人才，为本科生和研究生开设有关波罗的海三国的政治、经济、文化等领域的相关课程。

 

²       增进中国与波罗的海国家学者之间的交流和合作，为波罗的海国家研究跨学科、跨区域的学术交流举办研讨会、论坛和国际会议。

 

²       提供有关波罗的海三国当前所面临的社会、政治、经济、文化等方面问题的学术观点和评论，向社会介绍波罗的海三国的最新发展动态。

 

 研究中心有一支探索波罗的海国家历史、政治、经济，文化和社会发展和现状的充满活力的研究团队，其中教授3名，副教授2名，讲师2名，以及在立陶宛孔子学院工作的研究生。研究中心还与立陶宛维尔纽斯大学的专家和学者建立了广泛的联系，开展研究合作。

 

About Us

 

  Center for Baltic States Studies was established at Liaoning University in 2017 registered and approved by Ministry of Education of the Peoples’ Republic of China as an interdisciplinary , cross-regional research platform focused on the studies of history, politics, economy,culture,societies of Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia , and facilitating the academic exchange of scholars in Baltic States Studies in both China and the three countries. Our tasks are to:

²        Foster the study of and the innovative research on the Baltic States among the scholars of    Liaoning University and other institutes as well as graduate and undergraduate students.

²        Facilitate the training of scholars and experts in the Baltic States studies, and provide related courses in the political, economic, cultural and other areas of the three Baltic States for the graduate and undergraduate students .

²        Serve as a forum of international conferences and seminars for the ideas and thoughts exchange and research cooperation on Baltic States studies among the scholars and experts from China and the Baltic States.

²        Provide academic views and commentary on the social, political, cultural and economic issues that the Baltic States face in today’s world and introduce the latest developments in the Baltic States to the community.

 

The Center has a vibrant research team exploring the history, politics,economy,culture and societies of the Baltic States. The Center hosts three professors, two associate professors, two lecturers and some graduate students working at the Confucius Institute in Lithuania . The Center has also established extensive contacts and research collaborations with the experts and scholars at the University of Vilnius in Lithuania .
